Congratulations on deciding to further your academic career at West Chester University, I hope your experience so far has been everything that you have wanted and more! As someone who was once in your shoes, I started my college experience and it was everything I had dreamed of, but there was so much more to it when I finally joined the Panhellenic community; and I can’t wait for you to finally find your home away from home within the Panhellenic community! Welcoming our new members is something that we hold near and dear to our hearts and we cannot wait to finally meet you all! Our chapter has had a great influence on every sister of Alpha Phi, and we can’t wait to eventually share all of that with you! As sisters of Alpha Phi, we are here to guide you to find your home away from home, and help you find women who share the same amazing values and beliefs that you do! I am so glad that you have decided to go through the recruitment process. Going through recruitment has shaped me into the woman I am today. Although it is a very nerve-racking experience, you will walk into a room and feel like you are truly at home. For me, that room was Alpha Phi. Since joining Alpha Phi, I have felt like it is a place and environment where I can be my 100% true self and that is what being a part of a chapter is all about. Our chapter is represented by so many amazing women who are genuine, pure, and are different in their own ways. As women of Alpha Phi, we are given countless opportunities whether they are scholarly or within the community and we have a bond that knits us together in a way that makes us all truly feel like real sisters Being a member of Alpha Phi has opened my eyes to so many positive things in life, and the passion I have about this organization is something that cannot be replaced. When I walk around wearing my letters, I am reminded that I am a walking representation of this chapter, and I, along with the rest of my sisters; uphold the amazing values, ideals, and characteristics that make me a sister of Alpha Phi. Without Alpha Phi, I would be lost and would most definitely not be the person I am today. Alpha Phi’s will always be there for you cheering you on, show you what it’s like to be in an amazing, accepting family, and support every decision that you make. Throughout this process, I hope you find a home that makes you feel the way Alpha Phi makes me feel, a place wherein you hold so many memories, and a place where you feel accepted, no matter the circumstances, and lastly sisters that love and care for you unconditionally.
